We are excited to announce Jamie Lamprecht, CFRE as the new Director of Development at Variety!  Jamie will be responsible for overseeing fundraising and donor engagement efforts in support of Variety’s mission.

Jamie is dedicated to delivering forward-thinking leadership and will focus on creating a positive impact on the community, internal staff, and the overarching direction and success of Variety.

“I am honored to lead the team to make a bigger impact of Variety in the community and for the families we serve,” shares Jamie.

Jamie brings more than 20 years of nonprofit experience to Variety.  For over 12 years, he served as a Senior Executive with the Boy Scouts of America, and most recently served as the Executive Director for Faith Ascent Ministries for the past two and a half years.  

In addition to his extensive nonprofit experience, Jaime volunteers his time responding to search and rescue calls.  Teaming up with his cherished canine partner and family dog, Oakley, they work together to assist local law enforcement in locating missing individuals.

Jamie and his wife of 19 years, Emily, have two daughters, Addison (9) and Avery (6).  The Lamprecht Family loves spending time outdoors together – hiking, camping, and skiing.  They also enjoy going to Cardinal games and cheering on the Blues, St. Louis Soccer Club, and the Mizzou Tigers!

Jamie and his whole family also collaborate with local organization Duo Dogs Inc, raising and training dogs to serve the community as a service animal.  Their first Duo Dog, Kia, is now working as the facility dog at a local rehabilitation hospital.  Currently, they are raising and training 10-month-old Ralston who will soon be out in the field assisting others.  Their pet-friendly home also houses two cats, Oscar and Tux, and a horse named George!
