A 4th of July Activity

Summer is the season of picnics, cookouts, and yard parties with friends and family. In fact, in just a few days it will be the 4th of July! Adventure Camp Kids like Frankie got in a patriotic spirit by making this fun and easy snack. Variety Kids had a lot of fun picking out what ingredients they wanted to put in their mixes and excitedly compared combinations with their friends.

If you are looking for a fun and easy snack that you and your kids can make to take to your Independence Day parties, look no further.

This snack mix is a good way to have your children practice cooking and fine motor skills. Because there is no heat or sharp utensils involves, some kids might safely follow the recipe on their own. This will help give children a sense of autonomy and independence.

Preparing part of the meal also makes kids feel like they can contribute to a party!
