Bank of America Helps Variety Kids Build Confidence Through Performing Arts

We are excited to announce that the Bank of America Charitable Foundation is continuing their support of Variety the Children’s Charity of St. Louis’ inclusive Performing Arts programs through a generous grant.

These Performing Arts programs, which include Variety Children’s Chorus, Variety Dance and Variety Theatre, give St. Louis-area children and teens with and without disabilities the chance to build confidence both on stage and off. Through their performances, the programs also spread a message of accessibility and inclusion throughout the St. Louis area.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic has caused us to shift our programs over the past couple of seasons, it is our supporters and partners, like Bank of America, who have made it possible for us to continue providing an outlet of creativity for our participants. This past summer, members of our Variety Theatre Children’s Ensemble and Variety Theatre Internship programs gathered for Curtain Up Camp to produce a musical showcase for friends and family. And, currently, our Variety Children’s Chorus and Variety Dance groups are meeting weekly to rehearse and learn together as they prepare for upcoming performances.

Thank you, Bank of America Charitable Foundation, for your continued support. You are making it possible for us to help Variety Kids and their peers build self-esteem, learn new skills, make lifelong friends and so much more.
