Welcoming Brad Tutterow

Variety St. Louis is proud to announce the appointment of Brad Tutterow to its Board of Directors. A seasoned IT executive and community leader, Tutterow brings a unique blend of technical expertise and heartfelt dedication to Variety’s mission of empowering children and teens with special needs.

Tutterow’s journey to Variety began through the 2024 Nonprofit Board Matching Program at Reinsurance Group of America (RGA), where he discovered a deep connection to the organization’s transformative work.

“The impact Variety has on families in our community is truly inspiring,” says Tutterow. “I’m excited to make a direct impact in my hometown and I look forward to building relationships with Variety families and contributing to the incredible work this team is doing.”

Currently serving as Vice President at RGA in Chesterfield, Tutterow has over 25 years of experience in IT, with expertise in consulting, software architecture, and team leadership.

His career is as dynamic as it is impressive—he began as a pharmacist and transitioned into technology, developing software for pharmaceutical companies before teaching tech courses at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

“Brad’s innovative mindset and extensive IT experience will be invaluable as we embrace new strategies to analyze and use data to enhance our programs,” says Brian Roy, CEO of Variety St. Louis. “We’re excited to see how his expertise will help shape the future of Variety and deepen our impact.”

Tutterow, who lives in Glen Carbon with his wife, Joy, and their two Shetland Sheepdogs, has deep roots in the St. Louis area. His professional achievements are complemented by a strong dedication to giving back, making him an ideal fit for the Variety family.

As Variety celebrates over 90 years of changing lives, the addition of leaders like Brad Tutterow ensures its ability to adapt, innovate, and expand its reach for years to come.
