Abby comes to Variety from Cape Girardeau, where she graduated from Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and a minor in Human Resource Management. During her time at SEMO, she was a proud cheerleader and an active member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority.

After graduation, Abby began her professional journey at The Lutheran Home, working in marketing and development where she focused on community outreach and donor engagement. She also currently serves as an Event Production Assistant with Events Luxe in St. Louis, where her passion for event planning shines.
“I am so excited to be a part of the Variety family,” shares Abby. “I look forward to empowering children with disabilities and inspiring the community to get more involved with our mission.”

Abby and her fiancé Ty are set to be married in July 2026, and love to spend time with their lovable English Cream Golden Retriever, Philly — named after Ty’s favorite team, the Philadelphia Phillies. Abby’s family also lives in St. Louis, though they originally hail from New York.

In her free time, Abby loves spending time with friends and family, attending baseball games, playing with Philly, shopping, and traveling — with 30A along Florida’s Gulf Coast topping her list of favorite destinations. She also enjoys event planning so much that working with Events Luxe hardly feels like work at all!
Abby’s ideal morning starts with a walk with Philly and an Alani Nu for an extra energy boost.
