Earlier this month, the Jefferson Foundation announced the recipients of their second round of grants for 2021. The Foundation awarded 79 grants to 76 organizations, totaling more than $2.6 million in funds. We are pleased to announce that Variety the Children’s Charity of St. Louis is the recipient of one of these generous grants!
Variety has received a $20,000 grant from the Jefferson Foundation to provide area children with disabilities with access to critical medical equipment. This equipment makes it possible for Variety Kids and Teens to independently access and engage with their worlds, and may include anything from wheelchairs to walkers to communication devices, and much more.
In an article in The Leader, Jefferson Foundation Executive Director Missy Enders said, “We are very proud of what the foundation was able to accomplish and what our grantees are accomplishing.”
Thank you, Jefferson Foundation, for helping Variety to accomplish so much for children with disabilities living in Jefferson County, and throughout the St. Louis Region.
