Leah | Senior Coordinator of Communications

Variety Welcomes Leah!

We are delighted to welcome Leah Folk to the Variety family as our new Senior Coordinator for Communications!  In this role, Leah will be instrumental in sharing the stories of Variety children and families and ensuring these important messages of strength, determination and limitless possibilities are heard in and beyond the St. Louis community.

A proud St. Louis native, Leah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Creighton University in 2015. She began her career in education as a Marketing Associate at Dulwich International High School in Suzhou, China, before returning to the United States in 2016. Back in St. Louis, she served as a Marketing Coordinator with Cushman & Wakefield and, for the past seven years, has shared her talents as the Marketing & Communications Associate at her alma mater, Ursuline Academy.

Throughout her career, Leah has poured her heart into crafting and sharing stories that inspire, connect, and engage those around her. Her genuine passion for storytelling shines through in everything she does, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her bring that same energy and creativity to Variety!

“I am thrilled to join a team and an organization with so much heart! Every child deserves the opportunity to redefine their abilities, and Variety is an incredible resource making sure that every kiddo can do just that!”

Leah married her high school sweetheart, Zack, in the fall of 2017 and together they adopted their dog Odin in 2018. Outside of work, Leah shares her enthusiasm with several hobbies. She loves baking, hiking, concert going, and theatre, and even performs in the summers with a local theatre group, The Whitecliff Summer Playhouse. While she’s an avid traveller, Leah also loves exploring St. Louis’s vibrant food and beverage scene. Her newest hobby was joining a curling team with Zack and some friends.

We are so happy to have Leah on board and can’t wait for everyone to get to know her!  Contact Leah at leah@varietystl.org or 314-720-7714.
