Camp Staff

Variety St. Louis is looking for kind, enthusiastic staff members and volunteers (ages 14+) to join our team for Adventure Camp. Our unique camp programs are free to area children and teens (ages 4 – 20) with a physical or developmental disability. Staff members and volunteers work closely with campers to ensure the children have a fun and memorable experience while trying new things, participating in engaging activities, and making friends.

Adventure Camp takes place for six weeks over the summer, and winter camp will take place over one week in December. Both camps are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you are looking for a seasonal opportunity where you can have fun, gain experience, AND change lives, this is the perfect opportunity for you! We’re looking for collaborative, charismatic leaders, and decision-makers to join our team.

As of April 10, 2025, Variety is at capacity and no longer seeking candidates exclusively interested in working Weeks 2 and 4. We encourage you to apply if interested in working other weeks (Weeks 1, 3, 5 and 6). Or, if you are interested in working all 6 weeks of summer camp, we are considering those applications.
