Janette Coleman is no stranger to Variety St. Louis. Having dedicated 12 years to Adventure Camp as both a camp counselor and in leadership roles, we are thrilled to welcome Janette as our new Senior Programs Coordinator!
In her new role, Janette will collaborate closely with the Programs Director and Recreation Manager to ensure the success of Variety’s recreational and performing arts programs. You can expect to see her at Adventure Camp, Theatre Camps, as well as Variety Chorus and Dance, ensuring everything runs smoothly for the parents and the kids.
A St. Louis native, Janette attended Visitation Academy for high school. During her high school and college years, she worked at both Variety Adventure Camp and the STL Zoo. Janette then earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Oklahoma in 2021 and spent three years teaching kindergarten at Schwartz Elementary School in Oklahoma.
“Having worked at Variety’s summer and winter camps for over 12 years, I am most looking forward to expanding my knowledge of the organization and programs. I am excited to help expand the programs we offer to our kiddos and families,” shares Janette.
Outside of work, Janette enjoys spending time with friends, exploring the city, taking her dog Eeyore to the dog park, and baking.
