Meet Veronica
Veronica was diagnosed with congenital hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy and epilepsy within her first few months of life. Faced with this uncertainty, Veronica’s parents turned to Variety for hope and support.
From age 3 through 21, Variety has been by her side providing orthotics, power wheelchairs, van modifications, therapies, and more as her needs changed. Today, Veronica continues to move, engage, and thrive with the confidence built through Variety.
“We could not have made it to 21 years old without the help of Variety and their donors. We couldn’t have done it without you!”
-Diane, Veronica’s Mom

Meet Dean
Dean was born with LBSL, a progressive and rare genetic disorder that affects the brain and spinal cord, but he hasn’t let that keep him down.
Thanks to Variety, Dean has received orthopedic braces as he grows and has been able to attend weekly physical therapy, gaining the strength, confidence, and independence to be his best self!

Meet Tre
At just three days old, Tre was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis, a rare condition requiring surgery. Variety was there to provide him with a healing helmet, but that was only the beginning.
Through Variety’s Performing Arts Programs, Tre has found his voice — and his confidence. From chorus, to dance and theatre, he now shines on stage, performing for thousands and showing the world just how bright of a star he is.
