Welcome to Variety, Anna!

We are excited to announce Anna Wilde as one of our two new Health Services Care Coordinators! Anna will be working primarily in Variety’s TherHappy program while also assisting with durable medical equipment and other programs-related needs.
Anna comes to Variety with an array of experiences and knowledge in the health field. She is a 2022 graduate from Truman State University (go Dawgs!) with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science. During the pandemic, Anna worked as a COVID-19 Contact Tracer for the Adair County Health Department. Balancing her education with real-life experiences, Anna also worked at a local pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Anna brings fresh enthusiasm and perspective to the Variety team dynamic. She is “up for anything” and has already extended her skill beyond TherHappy Kids to bike fittings, Adventure Camp, and more. “I love coming in every day to help Variety Kids and their families reach their full potential with all of the amazing services that are offered.” Anna looks forward to seeing Variety Kids continue to thrive.
It’s no coincidence that Anna’s favorite word of wisdom is reflected in the way she accepts opportunities to learn in her new role: “Put your feet down, walk, and move forward.” In addition to reading, listening to music, and teaching swim lessons, Anna also enjoys spending time with her two tuxedo cats, Doris and Stewie. Her creativity is also reflected in the fun she brings to her family – including a custom monopoly game she once created for them from scratch!
Please join us in giving Anna a warm Variety welcome! If you need assistance with the TherHappy program or in obtaining an adaptive bicycle, please contact Anna by email or phone at 314-720-7709.
