Variety Family Conference Fall 2018

All are welcome to attend our inaugural Variety Family Conference! Part of the Emerson Resource Center, the Conference will take place on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018.

Attendees will take part in discussions and educational sessions, as well as take the time to connect with, and learn from, one another. The keynote will be presented by Kathie Snow, a renowned speaker passionate about breaking down boundaries and stereotypes surrounding those with disabilities. Her keynote session topic will be “Disability is Natural.”

Breakout sessions will include “Advocating for Your Child,” also led by Kathie Snow, “Post-Secondary Options” (including academic and career choices) and “Financial and Community Resource Considerations.”

This one-day event will take place from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Eric P. Newman Center on the Washington University School of Medicine Campus. Breakfast and lunch will be provided! Due to space limitations, we, unfortunately, will not be able to provide child care for this event.

Registration is now closed! For those who did register, the $25 registration fee will be returned to Variety families and students (who present a valid school ID) at the conference - all other attendees' fees will help defray the cost of the conference**.
