Packing hundreds of boxes with all of the supplies needed for Virtual Adventure Camp and Teen Camp can take a lot of time and effort, but many hands make light work! That’s why we were so thankful when Zone Enterprises employees Karen, Michael and Jim joined us as volunteers last week.
Karen, Michael and Jim worked with our staff as we sorted camp supplies into various activities and boxed them up for each of our campers and staff members. Their help was greatly appreciated, and the process ran smoothly with the extra hands. Many Week 1 campers have received their boxes, and a few have already reached out to share their excitement about using all of the goodies inside.
Zone Enterprises loves supporting local organizations such as Variety St. Louis that make a difference right here in our community. So, they jumped at the opportunity to send some volunteers our way!
Thank you, Karen, Michael and Jim, for dedicating your time to ensuring Variety Kids have the best Virtual Camp experience ever. And thank you to Zone Enterprises for working with us and including us in your community outreach efforts!
Be sure to tune in across our blog and social media channels starting next week to get a first-hand look at all of the fun our virtual campers will have this summer. We can hardly wait!
