Is your child missing out on their school-based therapy due to virtual schooling? Would you rather not resume in-person therapy for your child at this time? Does your child’s current therapist lack the option of providing teletherapy?
If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, Variety may be able to help!
Variety St. Louis is determined to provide uninterrupted access to the tools, like therapy, that children with disabilities, who are among those most vulnerable to the coronavirus, require to avoid potentially life-altering setbacks. After the start of the pandemic, Variety’s TherHappy Kids program quickly pivoted to include access to teletherapy through either a child’s current therapist or our new therapy partner, E-Therapy.
During these virtual physical, occupational and speech therapy sessions, Variety Kids build on skills they have already learned and work on new exercises, all from their safety of their homes. Each therapist also works to make every session fun and engaging while adjusting all activities to fit the child’s specific needs.
You can learn more about this expanded program and its many benefits in the video below.
