Summer Camp 2019 Registration is Around the Corner

2018 isn’t even over yet, but we are already getting excited for Summer Adventure Camp and Teen Camp 2019! We are so excited, in fact, that we have moved up registration to next month!

Variety St. Louis’ Adventure Camp is a free day camp experience open for children ages 4 – 20 with medically diagnosed physical and developmental disabilities. Campers get to do activities many of them never imagined possible, alongside new friends and experienced, trained staff.

Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Locations will vary from day to day, but all are within the St. Louis area and families will be provided with a schedule of these locations prior to each week.

Two camps are available to different age groups – Adventure Camp is open to those ages 4 – 16 and Teen Camp is available for campers ages 14 – 20. This year, we will be offering four weeks of Adventure Camp and, for the first time, two weeks of Teen Camp!

We hope you’ll join us on the following dates for friends, fun and more:

Adventure Camp 2019: June 3 – 7, June 10 – 14, July 8 – 12 and July 15 – 19

Teen Camp 2019: June 17 – 21 and July 22 – 26

As in the past, campers will be limited to a choice of two weeks of camp so that we can serve the most campers possible.  Parents will be able to list preferred weeks during registration.

This year, we are extending the camp registration window even further to a full week, from January 7 – 14, 2019. Registration will only be available online this year and will open Monday, January 7 at 9 a.m. and close the following Monday at 9 a.m. More details, and the camp registration link (once it is live), can be found at

Camp admission will again be determined by random selection from submitted camp applications. Applications received within the designated registration window will be processed in a randomly selected order. Those received outside of the window will be processed as capacity allows.

New this year, we will be requesting all information needed for each camper at the time of registration. This is to ensure that we receive everything in time to plan activities, order t-shirts and more! Thank you in advance for taking the extra time to fill this out.

New to Camp? Don’t worry – our Programs Manager Robin Diehl will meet with your family to ensure that Camp can best meet the needs of your child.

If you have questions, please contact Robin via email or at 314-720-7717 or Programs Coordinator Danielle Sutherland via email or at 314-720-7709.
