In partnership with Variety the Children’s Charity of St. Louis, World Bird Sanctuary is preparing to host its first-ever Sensory Night this September. The evening will feature a wide range of sensory-friendly activities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy, allowing visitors to learn about various animals through sight, touch, sound and hearing. There will be approximately 10 stations available, including a craft station, and all exhibits will be open.
This summer, Variety Kids tested this program out at Adventure Camp, and it was a big hit! Everyone had the chance to meet reptiles and birds of all kinds, and learned so many new things. World Bird Sanctuary has chosen to partner with Variety St. Louis to ensure that this new programming is fun and educational for all attendees.
More details will be made available soon. For now, mark your calendars for Saturday, September 29! The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will be hosted at World Bird Sanctuary, which is located at 125 Bald Eagle Ridge Rd, Valley Park, MO 63088. A special live animal show will be presented from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
