This year, Variety St. Louis is introducing a new Variety Family Conference as part of the Emerson Resource Center. The conference will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15 and will be open to Variety families as well as members of the St. Louis community.
Attendees and Variety staff will take part in discussions and educational sessions, as well as take the time to connect with, and learn from, one another. The keynote will be presented by Kathie Snow, a renowned speaker passionate about breaking down boundaries and stereotypes surrounding those with disabilities. You can learn more about Kathie, and her initiatives, here.
The conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Eric P. Newman Center on the Washington University School of Medicine Campus.
Registration will first be open to Variety families in early July, and will be open to the public in mid-August. More details will be available soon.
For now, mark your calendars for Sept. 15, 2018! We hope to see you there.
The Emerson Resource Center provides Variety families with support and the ability to communicate directly with advocates who can connect them to help with housing, transportation, education, recreation, funding and other support.
