In a little over a month, Runway Lights Fashion Show will kick off our Variety Week on April 21. Attendees will get a first-hand look at the designs from the Ralph Lauren Spring 2018 Collection, worn by the region’s top models.
But they won’t be the only ones hitting the runway – a group of Ameren Power Kids will join the show to model their own Ralph Lauren fashions.
Ameren Power Kids are Variety Kids who have received a power wheelchair with assistance from Variety and our outstanding partners at Ameren. Since 2003, the “Ameren Power Kids” program has brought the latest technology in medical equipment to these Variety Kids, with more than 70 children and teens receiving power chairs as a result of this program.
These power chairs are crucial to the livelihoods of these children and teens. Having access to power chairs not only increases their mobility, but also their independence and confidence.
The Power Kids will be introduced by Ameren’s chairman and CEO, Warner Baxter. Warner is a strong supporter of Variety, and was recognized as our Man of the Year in 2017. And this year will be extra special because Warner is serving as Variety’s new chairman of the board.
Reserve your spot today to see these Power Kids in action. Tables and individual tickets are on sale now at VarietySTL.org/RunwayLights.
