We are looking for caring, enthusiastic counselors for our 2020 Summer Adventure and Teen Camp. Variety St. Louis’ Adventure and Teen Camp is a free day camp program that serves children and teens with disabilities in the St. Louis area, and offers new experiences in a fun, safe environment. All camp staff positions are paid - learn more about this opportunity and this year's camp dates below.
As a counselor, you will work one-on-one with a child or teen between the ages of 4 and 16 during Adventure Camp. During Teen Camp, you may work with teens between the ages of 14 and 20. Activities can include swimming, tennis, games, arts and crafts, music, ice skating, rock climbing, trips to St. Louis-area attractions and more! Additional positions available include Lead Counselors, who lead an age-specific group of campers and their counselors, and Specialists, who plan and lead specialized activities.
Camp is located in a different place each day, which allows us to be flexible with our activities and excursions, but each location is in the St. Louis area. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
