Attention St. Louis: this is your day to make a difference. Together, we can raise $25,000 to benefit kids with disabilities in one day!
The Help A Variety Kid Challenge is a 24-hour online give-a-thon that allows you to donate whatever you’d like, from $1 up. Visit varietystl.org throughout the day for updates as St. Louis works together toward one big goal! Every dollar raised stays in St. Louis to help children with special needs.
Variety’s media partners at FOX 2, KPLR 11, and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch will help drum up excitement throughout the day. Thanks to our volunteers from Edward Jones who offer to help the entire day.
April 13: Imo's Kid's Pizza Day
As if anyone needed another excuse to order an Imo’s Pizza! “The Care Beyond Compare” donates 10 to 20% of its proceeds to Variety on this day. This annual fundraiser has generated more than $1.4 million for Variety kids and satisfied plenty of appetites in the process!
It’s the perfect day to host an office pizza party, family pizza night, or grab a personal pizza for yourself!
Once you have your food, send us pictures of how you’re enjoying it on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, using the hashtag #ImosForKids. Together we can build awareness and create record sales to benefit kids with disabilities!
April 16: Dinner with the Stars
This year's 50th annual Dinner with the Stars features pop superstar Lionel Richie! This black-tie gala event celebrates Variety's extensive impact on the lives of children with special needs. Recent headliners have included Toni Braxton, Harry Connick, Jr., Carlos Santana, and Diana Ross.
Variety has selected the Peabody Opera House, a historic theater in the heart of downtown, as the venue for this year's gala. This year we honor TricorBraun Chairman, Ken Kranzberg as 2016 Man of the Year, and community philanthropist, Judy Jones as 2016 Woman of the Year. Buy black tie gala and dinner tickets Here
