Luxury womenswear brand Lafayette 148 New York will be featured on the region’s top models at Variety’s Runway Lights Fashion Show 2019. Taking place on April 6 at Union Station, this is the can’t-miss fashion event in St. Louis, and you’re invited to join our couture for a cause.
Modeled after the runway shows of popular Fashion Weeks from around the globe, Runway Lights Fashion Show 2019 will feature designs from the Lafayette 148 Spring 2019 Collection, which continues to build upon an established brand that exudes quality, innovation and style. It channels the irreverent spirit of seasonal muse Peggy Guggenheim, the iconoclast and art patron who spent her heyday in Venice, Italy, where the collection was photographed.
Lafayette 148 New York is a groundbreaking fashion house known for sophisticated, clean-lined designs that fuse luxurious fabrics, outstanding craftsmanship and a modern sensibility, inspired by the company’s origins in New York City. The exquisite pieces of clothing from this globally known brand have been worn by Michelle Obama, Glenn Close, Oprah Winfrey, Drew Barrymore, Helen Mirren and many more.
The event, which is chaired by the incomparable Thelma Steward, will also feature Ameren Power Kids on the runway, showcasing their power wheelchairs as well as designs created just for them by beloved designer Carmen Marc Valvo. A luncheon will also be provided, during which our guests will have the chance to hear from a Variety mom about TherHappy Kids – the Variety program that funds therapy services for local kids with special needs and receives the funds raised at this fabulous show.
You won’t want to miss out on the style and glamour this event, so be sure to reserve your table or individual ticket soon. Tickets start at $100 and tables start at $1,000. More information and tickets and tables available here.
