In 2019, you can give the gift of adventure to local kids and teens with special needs. Variety’s Adventure Camp and Teen Camp are free day camps where campers have fun experiences and conquer new challenges, all while making lifelong friends. Your contribution helps make this a reality.
And every gift makes a difference. $25 covers five campers for an afternoon at the pool, where they gain confidence as they swim and play. And a $50 donation provides a trip to the movies for five children, giving them a fun escape from summer’s heat.
If you’d like to donate more, $100 covers entry fees to Myseum for 12 campers, where they can explore and learn in a place built for all abilities. And $150 reserves the Visitor Center at Forest Park for an entire day, so you’ll be helping all of our campers have a blast fishing, playing music and games, making crafts and more.
A $250 donation gives 20 campers all-inclusive wristbands at Sports Fusion, where, between the inflatables, basketball court, mini golf and laser tag, they don’t even realize they are getting exercise. $500 covers a day for 28 kids at the St. Louis Zoo, including lunch and entry to all of the fun exhibits. And $750 gives us a day at the St. Peter’s Rec Plex, where campers get to do so many activities, including ice skating, no matter their abilities.
We’d love to do all of this and more this summer, but we need your help. Please consider making a gift so that local kids with special needs can have the best camp experience possible.
