Resource Center

Variety's Resource Center is in place to connect families with necessary resources, helping to alleviate frustrations and allowing families time to concentrate on other matters. Variety's program director oversees the Resource  Center, and does the research to help find answers and services. The center is growing, and will offer customized seminars and workshops to help parents meet challenges for their children. Another offering coming soon will be a library of books and videos for families, as well as support groups for families and siblings of children with disabilities.

Variety the Children's Charity of St. Louis established its Resource Center in 2004 through a grant from the Saigh Foundation. The mission of the Resource Center is to provide a wide range of information and resources for Variety families, as well as educators, case managers and support staff. The center serves as a valuable source for information on pertinent topics and issues such as legal, social, therapeutic, advocacy, education, medical, counseling and support groups.
